February 2026’s newsletter: “Catching an Introvert – Lollie’s World Pokemon Battle”

Perhaps it’s because I’ve been playing a Pokemon RPG with my friends, but it seems Pokemon’s been on my mind lately. This comic’s a bit long to squeeze into my usual Lollie’s World format, so I hope you’re okay with receiving it here. (No, you didn’t get the wrong email. This is a newsletter, not a Lollie’s World update!)

Three comic panes. Jonie and Lollie line up in a Pokemon battle format with the text, "A wild introvert appeared!" Lollie cringes and takes damage as Jonie uses the move "Conversation Starter." Lollie uses the move "Book," but Jonie ignores her hint to leave her alone.
Three comic panels. Jonie uses the move "Questioning" and peppers Lollie with questions. Lollie cringes as she takes damage. Lollie uses the move "Ignore" and lools away. Jonie is mildly upset and takes some damage. Jonie uses the movie "Eye Contact," and Lollie gets swirly eyes as she is stunned.
Three comic panels. Jonie uses the move "Fast talk" and burries Lollie under speech bubles. Lollie faints. Lollie is caught in a Pokeball. Lollie and her friends are shown lined up like Pokemon in a Pokedex with the description: "You caught an Introvert!"

I’m pretty sure this is an accurate depiction of how one makes friends with an introvert. (As an introvert myself.)
